This policy explains how Solar Engine, operated by Reneww Ltd, uses cookies and similar technologies on this website. It sits alongside our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal information more generally.
1. What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. It lets a site remember things between pages and visits. Similar technologies — local storage, pixels and embedded scripts — do comparable jobs, and where this policy says “cookies” it means all of them.
2. Cookies we set
This website does not set any cookies of its own, and does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. We run no analytics script, no tag manager and no advertising pixel, and our fonts are served from this site rather than from a third party.
Because we set no non-essential cookies, you will not see a cookie consent banner here. If that ever changes, we will ask for your consent before setting them, and update this page.
3. Cookies set by embedded content
Some pages embed content from other services. Those services may set their own cookies when the embedded content loads, under their own policies, and we do not control them:
- Our booking page. The “book a demo” page embeds a third-party scheduling tool so you can see real availability and pick a slot. It may set cookies needed to run the booking and to remember your time zone.
- The Solar Engine platform. The product runs on its own subdomain. When you sign in it sets strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to keep your session secure. Those are essential: the platform cannot work without them.
4. Managing cookies
You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings, and most browsers let you refuse third-party cookies specifically. Blocking cookies will not stop you reading this website. It may stop the embedded booking calendar from working, in which case you can simply email us instead.
5. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time — in particular if we add a tool that sets cookies. Any changes will be posted on this page, and the date above shows when it was last updated.
